A supernova is an exploding star. At the explosion a huge amount of energy is released. For a brief moment it can outshine an entire galaxy. However rare occurrences supernovas are violent events.

Seglevi’s new paintings are explosions of paint. Flowing paint, generously merging and shifting. Within the paintings sits a reflection of big and small, allowing for an abstract view of micro- and macro dimensions. In it’s diversity it seems to mediate how all our experiences are closely connected. Art, play, everything we’ve experienced intertwined and carried within us.
